Ranthambore National Park is a wildlife sanctuary found in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan in India. It is the only national park located within a city and covers three tracts of forest. Ranthambore National Park was created in 1955 primarily to protect the tiger population in Sawai Madhopur from poaching due to its large prey base made up of deer and wild boar living there. Offering thrilling safaris, Ranthambore National Park is one of the best places to add to the Rajasthan trip packages of every wildlife enthusiast.
